With due respect, Why do you limit yourself to mere statehood ?
Hell ,We support statehood plus loaded with all the Constitutional guarantees that we had ,and that wangchuk & co. secured for Ladakh in their powerless individual capacities.

But before all that, resolve the Reservation issue.. Surely this doesn't require statehood but basic willpower. An S/O order or our bill would suffice.If the file is pending go pursue it like you pursue your routine matters and get it through.

Rest we made sure no vested interest hijacks the movement to the best extent possible .
Yet there is no denying, it is a public issue and there will be politics but you people can escape that loop by resolving this issue with sincerity & urgency, devoid of any more theatrics .

PS : It is ironic that Powerless entities that have no constitutional basis like the CJP got the resignation, Wangchuk got 371 for Ladakh, SO don't tell us that people sitting in highest constitutional offices of the state are powerless to solve a petty governance issue. ACT while there is time,withput excuses !

Exactly 18 months ago, on this day, the CM, @OmarAbdullah, promised the student delegation that his Govt would resolve the Reservation issue within 6 months.

Today, 18 months later, the @JKNC_ Govt hasn't even had the decency to acknowledge it as an issue or consider listening to the stakeholders, let alone resolve it.

The NC Govt didn't merely break a promise. They shattered the future of a generation despite having absolute mandate, replacing hope with perpetual pain & alienation.

Dear Friends, since you keep asking what next ,whats the roadmap,so let me put it this way brutally and honestly :
Is it only me, or are other Kashmiri youth also fed up with the current set of political parties in J&K? You try everything, with your voice, your pleas,your endless efforts but it’s like shouting into a gigantic hellhole. Is it just me or do you feel we desperately need an alternative? Forget about lofty aspirational promises for a while, what about just delivering on the basic deliverables like employment, Reservation, tackling drugs, affordable energy ?
Yet these parties take your vote, vanish for 5 years, then come back with begging arms , taking you for a ride again. One family after another, one party after another, the wheel of elites goes on and on crushes us, especially the Kashmiri speaking youth every 5 years.
Do you feel that resignation too?
Yes i get it i will be lectured "but man we aught to consolidate not fragment" and yes i agree , CONSOLIDATE we MUST --BUT not behind the same old tried and trusted band of deceivers, rather CONSOLIDATE around people with credible unblemished record !

Isn’t it time we, the youth, create something meaningful & break this wheel of elites permanently ? Maybe a “Cockroach Janta Party” sounds satirical yet ironic at the same time , but isn’t it time for a clean political force in J&K-- a combo of sincere youth, coupled with experienced but unblemished voices, who actually deliver ?
After exhausting all our remedies ,don't you think it is finally time to take matters into our hands and atleast fix these basic issues first, for all generations to come ,by building a force on ground that ACTUALLY delivers ?

Let me know your views on this and if we have enough volunteers then dear @CJP_2029 maybe just maybe : you might have your first franchise in the most unlikeliest of places --in Kashmir, in J&K .

I was born in a general category family. Not rich. Not influential. Just a simple middle class home where every decision is about managing expenses and surviving another month.

From childhood we were told one thing. Study hard. That’s your only way up.

So we did.

Late nights. Extra classes. Parents cutting down their own needs to pay coaching fees. Education loans before we even earn our first salary.

And every year, reservation keeps increasing. New proposals. New bills. More seats divided. More relaxations added.

For us, it feels like the space keeps shrinking.

The cut offs rise. The competition gets tighter. The pressure becomes suffocating. One mistake and you are out.

People assume general category means privilege. But many of us come from families with no land, no business, no backup. Just salaried parents or daily struggles. Still, we are expected to compete at the highest bar with zero support.

When reservation keeps expanding year after year, it does not just change numbers on paper. It changes the psychology of an entire generation.

It creates fear.

Fear that merit alone may not be enough.
Fear that opportunities are narrowing.
Fear that no one is listening.

This is not about taking anything away from anyone. It is about asking a simple question.

Should opportunity be decided only by category forever?

If help is needed, give it based on real economic hardship. Support those who genuinely struggle. But do not ignore thousands who are also fighting silently just because of a label.

We are not asking for sympathy.
We are not asking for special treatment.

We are asking for balance.
We are asking for fairness.
We are asking to be seen.
