Big No IMF. No dependency.
Give Pakistanis opportunities, not handouts. Create jobs, strengthen education, support industry, and let people build their own future.
A strong nation is built by productivity, not perpetual aid.

@SaleemFarrukh No one asked them to weigh in, yet they're always everywhere. It seems the urge to interfere in every situation due the special one worm in their ass.........
One of Pakistan’s leading human rights lawyers @umerijazgilani writes;
“In the western districts of the Punjab, especially Chakwal and Attock, there is almost an "ethnic cleansing " operation going on.
Mainstream Human Rights industry, political parties and journalists are all silent. No one is bothering to investigate and cover these stories. That's the tragic part.
Pakhtun families settled there for generations - mostly as coal miners and cloth traders - are being profiled, detained in Detention Centers and Deported to Afghanistan. Despite having proofs of Pakistani citizenship by descent.
Earlier today, got a call from two such families. One of them has 27 members presently exiled in Afghanistan. Another also has quite a few. Imagine what it'd be like to be uprooted, men woman and children all trucked to a different country. All because they are identifiably Pashtun.
Mind you, they are NOT the descendants of post-1978 Afghan refugees. They've been in the Punjab longer than that. They have no memory of being Afghan in recent past. And yet they are being forcefully deported.”
@MichaelKugelman There is no such organic activisim in Pakistan.They just do straight fire on protester. The protests in the past are just b/c of the internal temp in-between Top military general.
Many Pakistani media houses have contacted me to comment on the Gen Z protests in India. I don't comment on Indian politics to Pakistani media. I am sorry about it. I also think, if any there is any country in the South Asia region which needs a Gen Z protests for democracy, it is Pakistan.
#Germany's state-funded international broadcasting network Deutsche Welle (DW) has released an English-language documentary video titled “Pakistan — Nuclear Power at a Crossroad". It reviews in depth the multiple crises facing the country, including the massive growth of extremism, intolerance and violence; financial insolvency and lackluster economic performance; and political polarization, its most popular political leader in jail and its most popular party marginalized, a weak and corrupt political elite; and, the military having a stranglehold on politics. The documentary does not propose a way out for #Pakistan, but raises the alarm that these conditions can threaten the safety and security of its significant nuclear arsenal. I urge Pakistanis to watch, debate and discuss it.
