If *redacted* was traded for him a couple years ago the warriors would have wembyโs toughest individual defensive matchup (Steph) and his perceived toughest individual offensive matchup (OG). Weโll have to see how OG validates this perception but all I can say is thanks Joe!
Solving Wemby may be the hardest riddle the game has ever seen.
So, I polled some of the most-trusted media members around the league to figure out which player has the best chance of stopping him.

A combo of the media using KD against him, a few injury riddled years, poorly constructed rosters in recent years affecting team success, and the All-NBA selections more or less being a stat sheet stuffing contest, which has never reflected his impact. Playoff success > All-NBA
@Mike_kim714 Iโm actually striking it as good as ever at the moment, but right now Iโve been pulling it regularly and the bad ones get way too far left. Looking to bring my dispersion a little closer to my target as opposed to having to aim right of everything
Good thing the game isnโt a 1 on 1 contest then. Steph was a +12 in his 26 minutes. GP2, Draymond, and Melton were getting wide open looks at the rim or from 3 whenever they wanted but sure man, โSteph fears Amen.โ
I watched Curry run EVERY SINGLE possession Amen guarded him. He did NOT want to attack Amenโs POA at all.
The Warriors set a million illegal screens for entire possessions, so switches are inevitable, but Curry did not want smoke with Amen yesterday.
Revisionist history when it comes to Steph never ceases to amaze me. Everyone forgets when he re-aggravated the knee on that layup before the half in game 7 vs OKC. Was never the same in the Finals. Members in the cavs org were on record saying as much.
@theshadowsua@Mike_kim714 I wasnโt familiar with that rule either, itโs just what the telecast said. I assume it would be same for the guys in Masters as well.
