@TogashiLuvChild@Aleczandxr Meruem had Komugi. Youpi had a Knuckle. Pouf didn't have the same sort of interactions with humans as the other Chimera Ants
@rh_ally Because the theme of Attack on Titan revolves around human nature and human flaws and different perspectives and ideals and is portrayed by our reality. So of course, you’d expect the very same reaction in real life even from an ending that concluded thematically perfect.
@TheBrokenRonin No one watches Arcane and makes a male and female division because the writers for that show didn't either. They deliberately wrote the male and female characters in a similar way and with similar narrative significance
@TheBrokenRonin It shouldn't be that way but I think it's pretty obvious that most authors, especially shounen mangaka, deliberately write their male and female characters in different ways and for different purposes.
@Aleczandxr HxH doesn't really have "cool" twists which most theories tend to be about. HxH baits you into thinking something cool is about to happen but then tricks you by giving you something more melancholic and emotional instead. They're usually a bit of an anti climax in a way
@ColdCriti If there's anything I'd criticize AOT for it'd be how much the story forcefully spoon feeds the reader with obvious anti violence morals, but maybe it's just me because people seem to want the morals to be even more in your Dave than it already was. It blows my mind
@ColdCriti Their arguments are always referencing the most vague of narrative elements whilst conveniently ignoring the classically shounen heavy handed anti violence, let alone anti war, messaging throughout AOT.
