BREAKING: MAGA Pastor Robert Jeffress claims Donald Trump understands the Bible better than the Pope before thanking him for launching the attack!

Speaking with Fox News’ Aishah Hasnie, the far-right praised Trump for attacking Iran, saying the president was simply fulfilling his “God-given responsibility” to protect the nation, citing Romans 13 as justified by Trump’s “they’re two weeks away from a bomb they would immediately use” pretext.

“The great irony is it looks like President Trump has a better understanding of what the Bible teaches about the role of government than the Pope has,” the pastor of the ultra hardright mega-First Baptist Church in Dallas told Hasnie with a smirk.

Lest we forget, Trump is the poorest excuse for a Christian since Judas. He brags about never asking God for forgiveness, has been found legally liable for a bushel-basketful of sins and transgressions of all sorts, and is currently waging a chaotic war that’s fomenting economic instability at home and abroad, and subjecting the great country he’s been elected to lead to international disgrace.

This smug bastard’s sheer audacity is off the chart as he condescends to call the Pope a "good man" but . . .

A supposed messenger of God with an arena-sized flock is telling Christians that a twice-impeached, 34-count felon with a lifelong history of immoral behavior has a better grasp of scripture than the leader of the Catholic Church is peak MAGA authoritarian incursion into the nation's spiritual life.

MAGA Christians twist the Bible, ignore Jesus’s actual teachings on peace and the poor, and use it as a shield to defend endless war and cruelty, all while pretending they’re the ones with moral authority.

This is what happens when Christianity gets hijacked by political sycophants.
