Holy shit. I knew police union heads were some terrible people. But the Milwaukee PD union head 2005-9? In 1991 ignored 3 people of color and gave a drugged 14-year-old boy back to Jeffrey Dahmer, then went back to the station and made homophobic jokes about it.

They assumed they would win and I think they probably wanted "trophies" of their victims just like serial killers do when they take something from the person they killed to remember the crime.

@zinder41558805 I watched the second press release for Makiya Bryant and the Cheif or whoever he was said the cop was allowed to not use a taser on her because she was using deadly force. That rule needs to be changed. They need to train them to take them down alive by all means necessary.

@The_Joonie How can someone de escalate this? The same way he stopped this fight by shooting her, except instead of shooting her 4 times he could have grabbed his taser. he could have also just shot her in the leg. he had sharpshooter medals, he could have targeted her leg.

It was a fkn kitchen steak knife... she at most would have scratched the girl with it. Cops need to be trained to disarm... stun, rubber bullets, at most a shot to the leg. This cop had medals for being a sharpshooter.

@MrBryanTodd Police, If somebody appears to be attacking me with a knife, please don't shoot them as you might hit me too. A taser will do just fine, or if you have to, shoot them in the leg. Since when is assault a death sentence?
