Additionally, we want to share four more storyboards of Sonic the Hedgehog (2006). They illustrate the "Showdown with Mephiles" cutscene featuring Mephiles and Shadow removing his Limiter Rings.

The materials were also shown by Shun Nakamura in 2024 at an official fan meeting held in Taiwan.

@Aquaslash2049 @poularxd Metal Sonic was originally supposed to be playable for Sonic 2006 and his redesign is related by this. If you pay attention to his fingers, they have a specific style that is inherent to Eggman's mechs from 2006 👀
