UPDATE (1): My stepdad is about to pass at any time, which will make me solely responsible for my mother's expenses. She is doing quite well, health-wise, but is still bed-bound and completely dependent on me. I am here around the clock (for three years, so far)...

UPDATE (2): ...and can't work outside of the home as a result. We need food, water, electricity, phone, gas, supplements, supplies, and oxygen, among other things. I may keep our helper for a few hours on Wednesdays for a few weeks, until that is no longer feasible...
