Closing New York City streets during America's once-in-a-lifetime 250th anniversary celebration so a billionaire can hold a private wedding in middle of a very public square is the height of selfishness and elitism.
“I work the front desk at a small doctor’s office, and I wish people could see what happens on the other side of the phone.
Every day, older patients call us confused.
They are told to use the patient portal, upload documents, check lab results online, fill out forms before the visit, and confirm everything through a link.
Some of them do not know what a portal is.
Some do not have a smartphone.
Some have one, but they are afraid to click the wrong thing.
Last week, a man in his late 80s called about his test results.
He said, “Ma’am, I don’t mean to bother you, but the computer says I have a message and I don’t know how to open it.”
He sounded ashamed.
That broke my heart.
He should not have to feel ashamed for needing a human being.
Technology can be helpful. I understand that.
But when people who built this country are made to feel helpless because everything became a login and a password, we have gone too far.
Not everything needs to be an app.
Not every answer should be hidden behind a screen.
Sometimes people need a voice.
A patient person.
A real human who says, “Don’t worry, I can help you.”
Progress should not leave seniors behind.
Because one day, the world will move faster than us too.
And I hope someone is kind enough to slow down.

Anyone else remember the glory days when entertainers didn’t share their political opinions, they just entertained us?
If people didn’t like them, cool.
If people did like them, cool.
Because entertainment was their job, not politics.
BREAKING: Trump announces Regeneron will be giving away a new drug that cures deafness through a partnership with the Trump administration
"Even the fake news has to be impressed by that" -Trump
BREAKING: President Trump welcomes 2-year-old Travis Smith — one of the first children treated with a new FDA-backed gene therapy that restored his hearing.
PRESIDENT TRUMP: "He was born deaf. Was he totally deaf?"
SIERRA SMITH: "100%... He didn't know his name. He couldn't hear me tell him how much I loved him."
"He can listen to music. And he loves it. And he loves to dance. And he loves instruments. And I'm so proud of him. And he's been so brave through all of this. And yeah, now he can hear."
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but your online bitterness towards total strangers is just broadcasting what’s broken in you. Healthy people don’t have time for that. Those reactions are the lowest form of emotional impulse. You have unresolved frustration that’s looking for an easy target. It’s soul leakage.
I’ve learned that people that can’t control their lives, thoughts, and habits tend to control the comment sections. But, real power is being so grounded that you don’t need to tear someone else down just to feel something for five seconds. The dopamine hit doesn’t fill the void in your heart. The more you try to live there the less you’ll live anywhere with real meaning.
You’re hurting. The internet simply gave you a place where you could bleed on strangers without consequences. Let’s break that pattern.
🇺🇸🎸 ELVIS WAS AN ABSOLUTE LEGEND!
You CAN’T overstate the CLASS and PRINCIPLED man he truly was.
American icons once stood tall with DIGNITY, GRACE, and WISDOM.
Now picture Billie Eilish, Bad Bunny, or Cardi B showing even a fraction of that CHARACTER and INTEGRITY…
It’s almost impossible to imagine.
Real legends BUILT this country with humility and strength.
Today’s spotlight chasers? Hell-bent on TEARING it down with drama, division, and pure noise.
We went from THE KING… to clowns.
Who else misses the days when stars actually had STANDARDS?

.@POTUS at Graceland: I'm a big fan of Elvis — who isn't, right? — but his music is incredible. His life was complicated, but he was terrific, and he was born with a voice that he never lost.
In 1977, I had the incredible honor of performing this tribute to my dear friend, Elvis Presley, on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry. ‘If I Can Dream’ has always carried such a powerful message of hope and unity... ✨ I’ll never forget the energy in the room that night ❤️🎙️

Took my mom out for dinner last night. Her birthday. Nice restaurant. She's 68. Hasn't had an easy life.
We're looking at menus. She keeps checking prices. Picking cheaper things.
"Mom, it's your birthday. Order whatever you want."
"I know, honey. But the salmon is $34. I don't need salmon."
This broke my heart. My whole childhood, she went without so I could have things. Now she's still doing it.
Waiter came over. I ordered first. "I'll have the steak. And my mom will have the salmon. And the lobster bisque to start. And bring us your best bottle of wine under $100."
My mom's face. She looked scared. "Honey, that's too much"
"Mom. You raised me on $30,000 a year. You never bought yourself anything. You wore the same coat for 15 years so I could have new shoes. Tonight, you're having salmon. And lobster soup. And wine. And I don't want to hear another word about prices."
She started crying at the table.
The waiter came back with the wine. Poured it. Walked away.
My mom raised her glass. "You didn't have to do this."
"Yeah, I did. You spent 20 years making sure I never went without. This is just one dinner. I owe you about 7,000 more."
The bill came. $340. I paid it without looking twice.
My mom hugged me in the parking lot. "This was the best birthday I've ever had."
Not because of the salmon. Not because of the wine.
Because for one night, I got to give her what she spent a lifetime giving me: the feeling of being worth it. 🤍
