Stop being so considerate in situations where you aren't even considered. It’s okay to be nice. But if you’re sacrificing your own needs and wants to make someone else happy - you’re sliding into “too nice” territory. This will only lead to resentment and frustration.
I’m such an experiences person. If I had to choose; give me an activity, a trip, or a new adventure before giving me an item of the same value. Ideally I’d want both but still 🤣 Experiences > Material things.
Low maintenance / low effort friendships can be great. Sometimes you just want friends who don’t take up much energy. Those “I’ll see you when I see you” friends. You don’t necessarily talk or pour into each other frequently, but when you connect it’s meaningful and memorable.
So this girl who regularly comes up on my tik tok fyp, clean her whole apartment in the time it takes to wash and dry her bed sheet.. I am going to see it I can do it too
