Today's allegations about Senator Schwertner must be fully investigated. If true, Senator Schwertner is unfit to serve in office. The people of District 5 and Texas deserve better. Our state should be a safe place for all Texans starting at the Capitol

We inspired hope and a renewed commitment to organizing for positive change. I hope to speak to many of you in the days and weeks ahead, to better express my thanks and appreciation, and to learn more about what needs to be done in District 5.
