I'll be reading from The Silence that Remains at Inkberry Books in Niwot on Thursday evening. Come check it out if you're around! https://t.co/JHaJhWz8Ym
In some cases, outside clinics didn't send the images. In others, the VA didn't have enough staff to load them into patients' medical records. https://t.co/xYOQF8DdSL
Update: Denver, most of NE Colorado in the SPC’s 15% “hatched” zone for large hail today.
Means there’s a higher probability for large hail in the shaded zone, which stretches roughly from I-25 on east.
Timing will be 2-8p today, mostly on the front end of that range.

We'll likely never know exactly what happened, but the geographic pattern and a sudden uptick in the spring suggested the drug supply became more dangerous. https://t.co/QTnJaNHIoM
Severe storm risk will be highest east of Denver today, with a hail/limited tornado risk east of DIA.
Two waves of storms: one 2-6p. This one has the highest severe risk, but mostly misses Denver.
Second wave 9p-midnight along a front, better chance for Denver showers/storms.
Essentially, the Colorado Supreme Court determined cutting a service only used by a protected class that's out of political favor was discrimination, and potential harm to the hospital couldn't outweigh it. https://t.co/66OfLslfOR
Current brain-computer interfaces can allow someone to control a robotic arm, but it's not the smoothest experience. This research is trying to find ways to make it more like natural movement. https://t.co/XRwGfG0VTR
Notable improvements in this week’s drought monitor update thanks to last week’s May snowstorm. Most of northeastern Colorado improved by one drought category (below).
Long ways to go, but it’s a start.
And looks promising for more helpful rain/snow early next week.

Thanks to the Colorado moms who shared how parenthood changed them. https://t.co/VtB79BEzZi Emerging science suggests there might be something to that feeling of becoming a new person.
Thanks to @ColoradoSun for letting me talk about "The Silence that Remains." https://t.co/YthtCUaEvD They've also published an excerpt on their SunLit website for those who like to try before they buy.
Colorado's individual health insurance marketplace expected enrollment would drop 25% this year. About 4% fewer people actually signed up and paid their January premium. https://t.co/XuqlTdozp4
The brain changes more during pregnancy and early parenting than just about any point in adulthood. For Mother's Day, I'm talking to moms about what those mental and emotional changes look like for them. Click here to fill out our contact form. https://t.co/jYCrUAzCMF
Some good news regarding Colorado snowpack: After last month's free-fall, it's stabilized this month.
If this keeps up (more mtn snow tomorrow and next week), we may avoid our earliest melt on record (6/4/12) and potentially some of the worst fire-related consequences.
