I just realized how much my real name, especially the e-mail address for my real name, absolutely looks like a fake name--and a fake name that someone not very clever would invent for the genre I currently prefer. And my Twitter pseudonym looks like a pretty boring real name. :/
Mae stared out at her through the window, eyes wide, mouthing something.
Kaylee giggled. Mae looked like a fish, repeating the word again and again. Then Kaylee saw a large reflection behind her in the glass. She finally made out the word on Mae's lips.

my day job office is giving us free lunches to entice us back to working IRL instead of from our basements...and I am unreasonably happy about the free food.
