Who spent a full week following a Brackeys tutorial on Unity game development while adding my own spin to it? This guy!!!

@TSoftserve @bidtiddybiotch @ktpcho1994 @LandfallMax In fact, that's why I made the fan ability I drew. It's the perfect representation of the king and the Medieval faction, it does not try to be supernatural or flashy and it doesn't even copy abilities from other units, making it really unique. Also, tone down the sarcasm.
@TSoftserve @bidtiddybiotch @ktpcho1994 @LandfallMax I have to admit, I don't want the king to have supernatural abilities because that is not what a Medieval faction represents. But there is a difference between a new ability and a supernatural ability. It is entirely possible to give the king a new ability while not overdoing it.
@TSoftserve @bidtiddybiotch @ktpcho1994 @LandfallMax You kinda need to stop thinking about realism and start thinking about TABS' game design philosophy. Make a list of every boss unit in the game and list their abilities. You'll notice that everyone's got an ability that makes them stick out above the rest except the king.
@TSoftserve @bidtiddybiotch @ktpcho1994 @LandfallMax jeez, calm down. We could discuss this in a more professional manner. I understand that there are differences with ai, healthpool, damage output, etc. But the thing is that the older units are more outdated than the newer units.
@PickleRicksLife@anthony16203800 @LandfallMax @LandfallGames First, here's how my ability works. The king raises a tower under him, then 2 towers raises next to him spawning archers on top. The king will only move if either all the archers died, the wall gets destroyed or he get's knocked off.
@PickleRicksLife@anthony16203800 @LandfallMax @LandfallGames Second, I think your ability is pretty neat. It's simple, effective and easy to understand. My only complaint is that it's basically the miner ability but apart from that, understandable if they added that.
@TSoftserve @bidtiddybiotch @ktpcho1994 @LandfallMax However, you gotta admit that even if there are no super powered boss units, he is just only an over-sized squire which is disappointing because he is one of TABS' most recognizable units.
@TSoftserve @bidtiddybiotch @ktpcho1994 @LandfallMax Ok. I think you are overthinking what a king ability could be. But I understand that giving the king a supernatural ability could compromise the Medieval feel of it. I also suffered this when making a king ability which lead to me coming up with this:
@Dovahkiin76 @LandfallMax Hmm, as an advocate of a new king ability, that sounds like an ability that would confuse new players. An interesting concept, but sounds like an ability that would be in an RPG.
@PickleRicksLife@anthony16203800 @LandfallMax @LandfallGames I actually have an ability idea for the king. I really, REALLY tried to make it seem as Medieval like as possible. A wall that the king summons under him. Also, I rushed this drawing. Don't judge me.
@Darkerium1 @LandfallMax @LandfallGames While it is a good idea, we need to think about how to make it natural and TABS-like. Honestly, squires popping out of nowhere with the king sounds kinda lazy. I'm imagining my ability to rise out of the ground like Trump's wall.
