Other than borrowing, every pound the government spends comes from us. ‘It’s only a tiny slice of your tax’ is not a serious standard. We don’t apply that to defence training, the NHS, or anything else people actually notice.

The point still stands (I made nothing up). Restoring aid to 0.7% is roughly £14 billion a year more than Starmer. That is not a rounding error, while the Army is being told to stop major exercises to save £30 million and households are still dealing with a cost-of-living squeeze.

Calling hotel bills for asylum seekers, climate finance etc “not really giving money away” doesn’t mean the money wasn’t spent it just re-labels it. Just because it’s (obviously) more complex than I insinuated with a meme, it doesn’t give a free pass for bad priorities, which is what the spending is.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

A Restore Britain Government will ensure that every single NHS staff member speaks fluent English.

We are currently in the ludicrous and dangerous position of patient-facing staff being unable to string a sentence together - this is not just struggling to understand the accent, these are people entirely unable to speak English.

That is NOT acceptable.

I get complaint after complaint from constituents, yet the NHS refuses to accept the problem.

It's all over the country.

Patients feel unable to speak out for fear of being labelled a racist by hospital staff. Especially women who are often being treated in a very private way by foreign men who do not even speak our language.

It's wrong, and we should have the courage to say so.

If you can't speak English, you should not be working in a hospital. In fact, you shouldn't be living in England.

🦢: This is genuine issue in today's times. Some news reports try to claim (untruthfully) that there's no evidence for it, but on my time of the rivers, the canal and river trust/council workers would confirm to me that a great many Swans and Carp were being stolen. I often saw Carp poachers on the canals and have personally caught out fishmongers selling them. Swans are a beautiful symbol of England which should be deemed as sacred, not expendable objects. Maybe this man is saving the Swan or returning it to water. Maybe, he isn't. Whatever the case, this, like many other things, is a serious problem that needs solving.

- It was acquired by investment firm owned by BlackRock and Vanguard
- They’re the top shareholders of a company who the CEO was a primary investor of a company who’s been sued multiple times for scrapping facial data to build their AI's learning database. The illegal use of facial images without consent
