Fun story on “Callisto”

Corey wrote a lot of the (maybe all of the) rhythms on this song. During the tracking of shogun, the downpicking of the verse was so much - that I had to go take a break to let my arm recharge before hitting the final tracking.

When I came back… Corey had tracked it all already - sparing my arm. 😂

I’m gonna need yall to start shouting out lead techniques to try while singing live on stream.

Working on an incredible new pickup with Fishman!

The MKH customs will still be used by me in the studio and live; but I wanted to discover and create a new sound that we need for XI.

Fishman exaggerates and shows off the hands of the player better than any brand I’ve played; but my upcoming passive pickup (multi voice too) with Fishman is going to be absurd.

The engineering work we did with Frank and Ken at the hangar was mind blowingly fun.
