💜 The Glasgow Clan can confirm that American defenceman Colton Poolman has announced his retirement from professional ice hockey.

The announcement comes following a memorable season in Glasgow, where Poolman played a key role in helping the Clan reach the Elite Ice Hockey League Playoff Finals Weekend for the first time in 12 years.

A respected presence on and off the ice, Colton quickly became a valued member of the organisation and made a significant contribution throughout the 2025/26 campaign.

Everyone at the Glasgow Clan would like to thank Colton for his commitment, professionalism and dedication during his time in purple, and wish him and his wife, Kate, every success and happiness in the future.

💜 The Glasgow Clan are pleased to confirm Head Coach Mike Sirant has signed a contract extension and will lead the team into the 2026/27 season.

Entering his third season with the organisation, Sirant took over head coaching duties in January 2026 and guided the Clan through a strong finish to the campaign, including a memorable win over league champions the Belfast Giants to reach the Playoff Final Weekend for the first time in 12 years, before securing third place overall.

We look forward to continuing the journey together.
