It’s been fun, mind blowing, and stressful, but it was cool to work with y’all and the class in general was an adventure, as well as the teacher! Thanks for the experience! I had the best group and a funny and smart teacher that uses memes! @NutmegSomething#Bio110fall19
During our little experiments with plants. At first we thought Aaron’s plant(left) had won the competition for the one that grew the most, turns out i was the actual winner. #Bio110fall19@NutmegSomething
Before there was some kind of fire at Harper and the weather got this cold. I was able to photograph some ducks and a cranberry tree at school. @NutmegSomething#Bio110fall19
Although it wasn’t much fun for Piglet, it was lost of fun for me! It’s pretty cool to discover how similar are both human and pigs insides😂 btw look at the tail! It’s so cute😭 @NutmegSomething#Bio110fall19
I have O+ blood! Which is the most common type of blood, but is the one with the highest demand! Why? O+ blood is compatible with any red blood cells that are positive (A+, B+, AB+, O+). @NutmegSomething#Bio110fall19
#Bio110fall19@NutmegSomething Lipids are non polar, due to the fact that they don’t mix with water. Sudan IV is soluble in lipids, but not in water. Vegetable oil was used as an indicator and when mixed with water it remained in the surface and Sudan IV was dissolved in the oil.
#Bio110fall19@NutmegSomething Lily Pads grow in lakes and ponds. I know this, because I live in front of a lake and once while paddle boarding, I tried reaching for one, thinking it was just floating and I almost fell. I wasn’t aware that they were attached to stems 15ft long.
