Just spoke to a rep from University of Cincinnati Medical Center who says the hospital does NOT anticipate giving an update tonight on Damar Hamlin’s status.

It was most likely not the force of the hit but the timing of when the hit occurred.

We will learn more in the coming days but to minimize a serious injury because a hit “didn’t look like much” overlooks the mechanisms in which cardiac events can occur.

@SteveHodgsonJr1 I agree with encouraging regular movement but also wanted to highlight postures that we may benefit from avoiding. Especially during a time when virtual “everything” has been encouraging our long term postures.
