Question for any seating OT's out there! I have a SU that has a fixed left pelvic obliquity and rotation (even in lying) that I need to accommodate in a chair - are there any special cushions out there that can do this? Or would the SU need a moulded seat? #OTquestion @OT_Expert

I'm not sure whether any standard chairs would have cushions to accommodate the obliquity.. think it may have to be a custom cushion so will research! Haven't heard of Consolor so will check that out 😁 thank you!

@musedNeuroOT @OT_Expert Amazing thank you. Will give them a call and see what they'd suggest and get to researching! I'm also a bit worried the implications to hip (risk of dislocation?!) Not too sure ways to prevent this when posture fixed though. Might have to speak to a physio! Thanks for your advice

@musedNeuroOT @OT_Expert Thank you! It's a complex presentation. Compensates for left pelvic obliquity with a right sided lean, and right shoulder obliquity. Head position is good. Tilt in space utilised for posterior tilt. Wondering whether WC services would provide a cushion for a clients home chair 🤷
