Our answer is No.

For a majority of my adult life, I could not stand Catholics.

I have said the meanest, harshest, most inappropriate things about Catholicism.

I won’t get into the full details, for they are long, but across the last five years, something about my faith began to change.

I had always fallen in the crowds of non-denominational Protestantism. Something began bothering me, something felt hallow.

I underwent some severe persecution and hardship in 2022 specifically. Without an understanding why, I began to recite the St. Michael the Archangel prayer with my wife for two months straight.

Let’s just say— we were in a situation with a 1 in 1000 positive outcome and that positive outcome is what we got.

For a while, I didn’t think too much afterwards whether Divine Intervention played a role or whether I just wanted it to.

I always had “faith” but this time I was confronted with how much faith I truly lacked. For two years, I kinda just wandered…
