Today we were weather watchers. We watched what the sky looked like, we watched if there was any precipitation, we watched the wind, and we watched how people were dressed to gauge the temperature.

It’s dental week and my kinders brushed eggs stained with soda. First they tried just water then added toothpaste. This activity demonstrates what soda can do to our teeth if we don’t properly brush.

We kicked off our healthy body unit with a handwashing lesson/experiment called glitter hands. Students were given glitter aka germs on their hands and then instructed to properly wash their hands to see those glitter germs disappear.
