It’s time for some fun as we dress in our school appropriate beach wear on Friday, May 24th for our One Book One School dress up day. Can’t wait to see our kiddos looking ready for summer!

Oh what a year it was! If your CIS student would like a yearbook to remember their 2023-2024 school year ~ they may purchase one in the office for $21. Cash or checks made payable to Crestwood Intermediate School. Limited quantities available.

The last day of fun with these great kiddos. They decorated the entrances with amazing chalk art & words of appreciation to our teachers along with welcoming back the campers. Then, they painted rocks. I had so much fun with them & I’m happy I got to spend that time with them.

Day 2 with some great 6th graders. In the morning. We enjoyed some outdoor recess time and in the afternoon we made beaded bracelets. Then, we ended our fun time together with an ice cream sandwich. What a treat to get to spend time with these kiddos!

I had so much fun with the 6th graders who stayed behind from camp. In the morning we had recess. In the afternoon, we made s’mores and took advantage of the weather to play some games outside. Thank you to Mrs. Kulesza for your help!

Teacher Appreciation Week is next week, May 6-10. CIS will have a week of teacher inspired spirit days and opportunities to show small acts of kindness for all they do. We love our hard worker teachers and hope to show them just how much we appreciate all they do!

The 6th grade camp form deadline is finally here. Preparations are under way to make for a memorable time. If your student is attending, please make sure they have all their completed paperwork turned in tomorrow- Friday, April 12th. Thank you!!

When I saw this in the hallway, I had to pause & take it in. To choose one word for 2024? How hard that would be. I love that “family” was the most chosen word - hoping our kiddos get to spend special time with loved ones during spring break. 🥰

The CIS Read-a-Thon was a success! Thank you to all who read and those who supported their students. Prizes were awarded to the Top 10 fundraisers, the raffle winner and the student who read the most. Well done! 👏 Donations will go towards PBIS & an end of the year celebration!

CIS 6th Grade Students - don’t delay! It’s time to turn in your Hiram House Camp forms and your Akron Rubber Ducks field trip permission slips. Deadline for both is Thursday, March 28th. Don’t miss out on the fun!

The. Akron Rubber Ducks is offering students who read 4 books from 3/1-4/15 an opportunity to attend a game! Paper with QR code & details sent home with students. Keep logging Read-a-Thon minutes and transfer books read onto that paper. So many rewards come with reading!

Would your 6th grader like to go to camp? Do you think they would enjoy staying in a cabin with friends? 3 days of fun are planned with activities such as nature hikes, archery, canoeing, wall climbing, a dance and much more! Camp forms due March 28th.
