49ers star LB Fred Warner on the Lions injury issues, via @StBrownPodcast:
“At some point, old Dan is going to come to his senses, man, and be like ‘Listen, this ain’t making nobody better, brother. We can still get our work in without bringing guys to the ground.’
@YardsPerGretch Agreed. But the flip side is that McDaniel was considered cool when he started with his success, while Campbell came across like a dumb jock. Life be like that
Curt Cignetti has a fascinating philosophy...don't waste anyone's time, coaches not expected to work nights just get work done, limited practice to keep players healthy
@Max11089@MarkHodder3@riger1984@971theticketxyt@JimCosta_@stoney16 Yeah maybe I’m wrong on that. I do think there’s something to be said about DC’s intense practices and that it could relate to more injuries. Who knows if there are more proactive approaches to the injury situation
@MarkHodder3@riger1984@971theticketxyt@JimCosta_@stoney16 Fair take: JM was awful
Shep showed streaks of both terrible and great . Losing your DL, top 2 CBs, top 2 S, depth, etc., is tough for anyone. S&C dept should be questioned too.
Shep showed flashes of being a great coach and is undoubtedly a great leader. I say one more shot.
