On the subject of "tragedy tourism" many 9/11 survivors I know refuse to visit the WTC memorial not because the site itself is painful but because of the people.
Most tourists smile in their photos. I once saw a girl laugh as she ran off with the flower placed in a victim's name.

Pale Blue Dot is a photo of Earth that was taken by the Voyager 1 space probe in 1990 from a distance of about 6 billion kilometers (3.7 billion miles) as it was leaving our solar system. This is what Carl Sagan said about the photo:

Many people are upset about the bible being removed from school libraries. When we pass poor laws and policies lots of books that shouldn't be pulled get swept up in the purge. Let's work together on common sense solutions so The Bible and The Bluest Eye aren't targeted as porn.

In Davis County, Utah, the Bible has been banned.

It remains accessible in HS libraries but has been pulled in 7-8 elem schools and junior highs, due to "vulgarity or violence".
