BREAKING: @ITVCentral cameras were there when two young sisters from #Derbyshire unearthed a 6th century Anglo-Saxon brooch. Georgia and Evie Hinton found it during a @DerbyScoutArch event in #Leicestershire last month. Experts at @britishmuseum have now confirmed it's genuine.

This beautiful Post-Medieval doll was recently found in North-West Leicestershire. It dates to the 16th century and is the most complete example recorded on the PAS database, I am used to recording fragments of these toys.

I recently recorded this Middle Bronze Age dirk, found in the Melton district of Leicestershire. It is almost complete with a fragment of the hilt being damaged. It dates to c. 1700 - 1400 BC.
