Update: Rika Kihira has withdrawn from Chubu Regionals (and will therefore not be able to participate at Nationals).

Although she has recovered a lot, she is still not completely healed. She does not want to repeat last season’s scenario where she could not do her best and get results in both practice and competitions because of the injury. She is increasing the intensity of training off and on-ice in Toronto. Skate Canada, her upcoming assignment, will depend on her condition. She wants to come back healed next season. She is aiming for the 2026 Olympics.

We wish her to fully heal soon.
