Baby boomers did a pretty good job teaching their millennial daughters that they could be anything they wanted to be and a pretty terrible job of preparing their sons for what that would mean for them as husbands and fathers
Americans can learn from the past so long as they know what that past is. It is much easier to control people who don't understand what they are fighting. It is important to look to history so people can understand we are dealing with a pattern of institutional obfuscation.
