I didn't think I could see dumber responses to this article, then I opened up the QTs on this specific post. SVU was & always will be successful bc of the Meloni-Hargitay pairing. They were equally important - if you can't admit that, you need your eyes (ears, head?) checked.

Ice-T says Mariska Hargitay became responsible for carrying “Law & Order: SVU” after Christopher Meloni left the show:

And also, Mariska herself has said that Chris made everyone around him better (including her) so I, for one, am grateful for everything he brought (may still bring) to SVU & the huge impact he had on those early seasons. Thanks CM!

I will be sat for Christopher Meloni and Christopher Meloni only. There's not a single other character that would emphasize the magnitude of the 600th episode. It should focus on the two characters who built this show - Olivia & Elliot. The End. @WolfEnt

I see so much SVU negativity on the timeline lately. Kinda getting to me a bit and killing my positive energy/bumming me out.

We don’t know what will happen but I trust Chris will make an appearance at some point, we will get EO & more personal scenes when it’s right.
