50 minutes ago an earthquake struck NZ .. 5.9 .. Followed 3 minutes later by a 5.4 ... 14+ aftershocks so far have been recorded.

This river runs along the east side of my town here in N.Z. With all the rain upriver .. Our river is spilling over the stop bank. Cyclone Gabrielle has left a trail of destruction up north and along the east coast of the north island.

Nasty weather mother nature is tossing around throughout parts of N.Z.
In my part we've had strong winds and the rain which after a few hours break, has started up again! Stay safe guys.
