Eight nations are actively playing cricket
Meanwhile, Pakistan's schedule consists of just a two-match Test series after nearly two months of inactivity
Never beating the allegations @TheRealPCB π€‘
Amir Sohail was probably the only commentator who truly appreciated the innings Babar played. He understood the conditions, recognized the difficulty of batting on that surface, and gave the knock the credit it deserved π
@CallMeSheri1_ They are clearly missing the bigger picture & it's quite telling
It's not about tit-for-tat pitches, but about preparing for a WC that will be played largely in SA
The approach you take now can shape your WC campaign, so every decision should be made with that in mind
How can a coach look so pleased with a narrow series win over a side that wasn't even at full strength?
After so many blunders under his watch, can we really expect PCT to do anything special at the WC?
The bigger question is: why is PCB so hesitant to make a tough call on him?
Oye @TheRealPCB ,can you explain why are Pakistan playing so few ODIs ahead of the 2027 WC? How exactly is the team supposed to prepare for a 50-over WC with such a limited ODI schedule?Have you seen India's fixtures leading up to Mar 2027?
Koi ek kaam toh dhang ka kar lo kabhi??
Top scorer in the first game.
Top scorer in the decider.
Yes, he couldn't finish it, but the burden of winning cannot fall on one player alone. The other 10 have a job to do as well, & they're paid for it too
Well played,King Babar
Onwards & upwards from here, IA π
#BabarAzam
This man survived 80 deliveries, the most by any batter on a pitch that hardly anyone has been able to read, scored 40 runs- the second-highest overall,& eventually fell to an unplayable delivery
By the time he got out, he had already put Pakistan in a position to win the game π
Not sure if Babar will finish the job,but the way he has handled the bowlers on this pitch deserves respect
This isn't a surface where u can rely purely on strokeplay. It requires patience, composure,& discipline,& Babar has shown all three while wickets kept falling around himπ
