Tonight, speaking from Dubai on @FRANCE24, I explained the worldwide positive relevance and importance of Data Centers and the global status of the Digital Economy, which accounts for 17% of the world's GDP. We discussed income disparity, climate impact, energy requirements, empowering underdeveloped nations, the ranking of European nations, and the US and China per the International Data Center Authority (IDCA)'s Digital Economy Report and Digital Readiness Index of Nations.

Enjoyed my time at the 5th Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) General Assembly, represented by 16 Ministries of Digital, Digital Economy, and Communications. It was great catching up and meeting with Her Excellency Deemah AlYahya, HE Omar Alomar, HE Abdullah Alswaha, HE Ali Al Shidhani, HE Dr. Bosun Tijani, HE Kamal Shehadi, and other influential and esteemed member states and global leaders.

The road to cooperative digital success is through unification and developing a cohesive economic block that strives for larger investment and purchasing power, thus rendering higher rewards.

We are not there yet, nor do we need to be. We need to fix planet Earth first before we dream of conquering space. Have you ever seen an astronaut walk on the moon? That's how data centers would work in space...

From power generation to workforce shortages to the high cost of maintenance, to connectivity and latency costs, these are just some of the issues of putting data centers in space.

In short, while announcements about building data centers in space might sound exciting, they lack substance, but they do help elevate stock prices!

History in the making... Today Oman took a bold move and announced its ambitious plan with International Data Center Authority (@IDCAorg ) to build the world's first digital triangle. It is both an honor and pleasure to be appointed as the strategic digital infrastructure partner and national advisors to the Sultanate of Oman. I was delighted to be invited by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology - Oman (@mtcitoman) as a VVIP and speak in presence of Royal Cabinet of Ministers that included Defense, Energy, Finance, Economy, Transport and Communications, Commerce, ... Oman is the Switzerland of the Middle East. It has no history of conflict in the past and digital economy, powered by IDCA, is the optimum route to monetize the value it has buffered over so many years.

The Sultanate of Oman just declared that it has signed with IDCA at the national level to enable and empower its national digital economy, by building ODT (Oman Digital Triangle), the first of its kind three digital hubs purposed for AI super-clusters. Sultanate is an energy and investment rich nation in the Gulf that possesses not only abundant of resources, but also it is known for being the most peaceful nation in the entire Middle East. Today the announcement ceremony took place in front of the royal cabinet in collaboration with Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology - Oman (@mtcitoman) in the presence of Minister of Defense, Minister of Energy, Minister of Economy, Minister of Finance and more plus over 40 undersecretaries, and tens of key investors and energy providers. The IDCA delegation, led by the IDCA Chairman, @MehdiParyavi, was welcomed as VVIP and asked to join the stage for the major announcement.

4. Environmental concerns for data centers - It's very simple: Over 40% of the world's data centers reside in United States and yet the US produces 178 metric tons of emission per every $1m of GDP. This is where the world's average is 355 and India and China are surpassing 700... This shows that possessing more data centers doesn't necessary leave a negative impact on the environment because data centers enable digital economies and the digital transformation and with that other industries become more efficient.
