Pass a law:
Every MLA, MP, MLC, IAS, IPS must put their children in government schools till Class 12.
Watch how fast those schools suddenly become world-class.

Next law:
No politician or top bureaucrat can send their kids abroad for education.
No buying property abroad.
Do this and you’ll see clean air, clean streets, clean governance.

Tough times demand tougher decisions.
If they truly serve the people, let’s see them live like the people.

Blaming the government is easy, but real change begins with us as citizens. A ban alone cannot work unless people are willing to change their habits. Picnic spots are highlighted because that’s where plastic waste is most visible, but the responsibility doesn’t end there.

As we celebrate the New Year and go for picnics, why can’t we consciously avoid single-use plastic as much as possible? Why can’t we keep our picnic spots clean, spread awareness among others, and protect nature together?

We often say “politicians are corrupt,” but an honest question is are we honest and responsible as citizens? Civic sense is not enforced by law; it is practiced by people. Environmental protection is a shared duty, not just a government order.
