EUSS monthly statistics are out.
The backlog is flatlining.
The lowest ever monthly number of applications were concluded in April. At this rate it would take over 3 years before the people behind these 268,100 applications are given a decision.
The Withdrawal Agreement clearly states applications for family members of EU citizens should be processed "on the basis of an accelerated procedure".
How is an average of 7 months waiting time justified by the @ukhomeoffice to be an accelerated procedure?
And my husband(aka voice of reason) asked me to drop the existential dread because the world has always been this way. I guess it’s time to just go make some art instead💪
