On the directions of Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Director Industries & Labour / Controller of Weights and Measures visited G6 Ramzan bazaar to check the accuracy/correction of weights and measures being used by sellers.

One nozzle found short in measure has been sealed and fine imposed in accordance with the Weights and Measures Act 1975 and Weights and Measures Rules of 1976.

In the light of multiple complaints received, Director Industries and Labour ICT checked multiple fuel stations to check measure of nozzles . A total of 36 nozzles were checked for measure.

@AleemBerg @dcislamabad On surprise checking of this pump by team of labour department, all nozzles were found correct in measure. However, the management of the pump was cautioned and directed to ensure correct measures.

@AwaisKhanTweets @CaptainUsman 3/3 Pl find attached the app for deseal & affidavit accepting the faulty measure and its subsequent repair to correct the measure. Also, after correction of measure report the sealed nozzles have been desealed.

Also,the manager of the pump Mr. Shahbaz visited my office yesterday & accepted the presence of faulty measures of 7 nozzles& was also found privy to the findings of previous inspections& recorded violations

The said pump was inspected by LO Zubair & 7 nozzles were found out of measure:1 in excess & 6 short on measure.6 nozzles were sealed. Pl find attached pictorial evidence of faulty measure on 2 diff instruments
