@centralbankuae when banks cant forfied money, how are companies allowed fo forfiet hard earned money in name of 'validity period'. No communication is sent as reminder and card itself doent mention expiry

@centralbankuae my gift card balance forfeited after 12 months by @MajidAlFuttaim. Unaware of this, and was out of country for 5 months. What consumer protection laws apply? Eg In US, gift cards can't expire within 5 years from activation to protect consumer.
