Following positive signs from the government, peaceful protests have been temporarily paused. However, our commitment to the cause remains steadfast.

Vocational Teachers of J&K will rejoin schools up to 13th April under a PEN DOWN STRIKE, standing strong in our demand for justice and fairness.

We urge @JmuKmrPolice to release our detained colleagues in the Kashmir Division and respect our democratic right to protest. These teachers shape the future, let them return to classrooms, not custody. Stop the detentions. Let their voices be heard. @CM_JnK @diprjk @DivComKash @BaramullaPolice

Shameful & Heartbreaking

Vocational Teachers in J&K, including females, were unjustly detained by police yesterday evening and today morning. @KashmirPolice
We are not lawbreakers, we are nation builders.
This treatment is unacceptable and deeply disrespectful to the teaching community.

We have been on indefinite strike for the last 8 days, and we will continue it until our voices are heard and our demands are met.

We demand justice, not detention.
Our voice will not be silenced.

The National Conference @JKNC_ has taken a commendable step towards fulfilling its election commitments:
✅ Committee constituted to frame the legal roadmap for daily wagers & casual labourers.
✅ Regularisation of ReK after 7 years of service.

We, Vocational Trainers, wholeheartedly welcome these decisions. Now, we eagerly await the next crucial announcement justice for vocational trainers.

As promised by our Hon’ble CM @OmarAbdullah @CM_JnK before elections, we trust that our decade-long struggle will soon bear fruit, ensuring an end to exploitation and a special job policy for vocational trainers.@sakinaitoo @nasirsogami

We build the future of our youth but where is our future?

Despite 10 years of dedication, J&K Vocational Teachers remain trapped under exploitative private firms #VTPs. Samagra Shiksha @JKSamagra itself confirms that vocational education can run without private companies. States like Haryana, Andaman Nicobar Islands, Mizoram etc have removed private companies #VTPs — why is J&K still delaying?
