NEW: Dolton (Chicago area) mayor Tiffany Henyard, who once hired a child r*pist as code enforcement officer, is under fire for her lavish spending.
She also appears to think she's Jesus.
Henyard makes ~$300k a year and has proposed a law to cut the mayor's salary to $25k *only* if someone else becomes mayor.
If she remains mayor, she will keep her current salary. Some claim that Henyard is doing this to discourage people from running against her.
Henyard's salary comes from being mayor as well as the Thornton Township supervisor where she also 'serves.'
Henyard allegedly uses taxpayer money for billboards, hair, makeup and expensive trips.
She brings DJs to town meetings and also films music videos with the police.
She also appears to buy her dog jewelry to flaunt on her Instagram account.
Wild.
@gladysk06040782 @LasVegasLocally I think many businesses were like that & now, they might throw a holiday party where everyone gets drunk and embarrasses themselves but don’t forget - it’s a cash bar. Now that I’m in my 30s I’ve learned not to go. My mom though, her corporate gifts were amazing & in the end zero
@itsyagirlsp @Phil_Lewis_@hirozephyrr I wonder if there are any studies available that they did to prove the number of patrons that visit libraries. Which days/times are highest? I’m upset by this decision, and I don’t live in NYC. But am genuinely curious is there is data readily available to the public.
I really really really wish I would NOT have looked at the comment section for this one… “how often do your elementary aged children shower/bathe?”
My chin is on the flooooor.
