@whitstrub guessing it’s not the “in-person” that’s banned but the “proctored.” I did my PhD at Notre Dame and tho proctoring wasn’t prohibited, students would be insulted if you stayed in the room while they took exams. ND had a student honor code and it was part of their whole identity
