Ticket master the current partners of Live Nation who have an alleged monopoly on the touring business have recently come under fire.

Former executive Stephen Mead (of TICKET MASTER) has plead guilty to for hacking a rival company named CrowdSurge.

Else where Zeeshan Zaidi (also a ticket master employee) plead guilty to conspiracy to commit computer intrusion.

“Both are accused of illegally accessing the servers of a rival ticketing company: Crowdsurge, which later merged with Songkick. The scheme involved them using the access to gather confidential information and sharing it with other members of Live Nation’s corporate family. This information was used to steal customers from Crowdsurge, which later went into insolvency.”

Once again ladies and gentlemen you may believe In coincidences and conspiracy theories but the industry continues to show us that they will stop at no lengths.

These things have been proven in a court of law.

If a company as large and powerful as Ticket Master (which is also technically the same umbrella as live nation given their merger) would go as far as to hack and invade other companies. What tactics do you think they use to keep artists and promoters in check so they can continue their alleged monopoly.
