General #JBL3PT contest insights:
3. Moneyball rack
The finalists had a chance to change the moneyball rack to where they felt more confident
--> Klay and Booker changed and improved, Harris stayed and didn’t.
The sample size is too small to derive conclusions. Let's see 2019..
General #JBL3PT contest insights:
1. Positions:
The ball racks themselves were places at the exact positions - top of the key, corners, wings. Therefore the competitors shot from a bit to the right\left of those.
--> It may take more experience to adjust for those positions
Starting with the sets themselves:
Our #ShotFactor showed the raw data - each shot's hit location + made\missed.
We'll:
- Review those shots from the player's perspective - it's meaningful.
- Show some insights
- Show you the entire set, cause it's fun
@RealDealBeal23 Shot 6h.
Insights:
- Rack 1, left corner, large offset right. 5" Left would win 3 more points.
- Racks 2 and 3 show very nice left-right balance, lost 8 points on short\long.
- Racks 4 and 5 had amazing groupings, on 5 the offset cost 3 points (and the finals?)
