I am thankful for the opportunity of learning a variety of digital tools that can make my work easier and more meaningful. I will now try to incorporate some of them to my daily practice and hopefully my students will benefit from it. #SUNYSNBR@DanPardy
To be honest I wasn't a big fan of using iPads with my student, I always chose to provide hands on experiences. But now I changed my mindset, technology can be my ally and actually give me other possibilities in class. #SUNYSNBR@DanPardy
@nahpetite@DanPardy I also mentioned to Taty the importance of not only making the library more technological, but also connecting it to other subject areas. If we combine different strategies our students will benefit from it even more. #SUNYSNBR@DanPardy
@Raquel27330949 @DanPardy I had the same insight! I feel like it is our duty as educators to teach our students, since the early years, to reflect on their learning. This way they will become empowered learners, which is our goal. #SUNYSNBR@DanPardy
@rosananaomimi @DanPardy And that is the reason why only a few people come with innovative ideas that impact our society and completely changes the way we live. We must dare to have crazy ideas and try them. Let's learn from all that projects that went wrong and think outside the box! #SUNYSNBR@DanPardy
As educators we must teach our students skills they will need for jobs not yet invented right? Well.. here are some posts our students might apply for in the future: https://t.co/stZeOx8NuO

@rosananaomimi @Camila17831758@blenda_batista@MichelsFabiola@DanPardy Agreed! Because even on that technology can help you. There are many apps that can help you exercise at home. Others monitor your daily activities and set goals to keep you motivated. If we are lazy that's on us π #SUNYSNBR@DanPardy
@rosananaomimi I love TED talks! They are also a great use of technology to learn. Great topics, passionate presenters, short, yet deep presentations and allow us to listen at the car or watch while we are waiting something. #SUNYSNBR@DanPardy
@poodlemominBR@DanPardy Exactly! I love the way our classes are connected and complementing each other. Our students will surelly benefit from everything we are learning here. #SUNYSNBR@DanPardy
I think it is from our human nature to look for connection. Therefore, a good presentation, even if it is completely digital, should transmit the presenter's passion about the theme somehow. #SUNYSNBR@DanPardy
@Rislene11@LibreLocaSoy@DanPardy Awesome combination of presence and technology! You used your students interests + a digital tool with purpose and it changed his relationship with reading and writing! #SUNYSNBR@DanPardy
@BabsSUNY@deborao60057418@DanPardy The truth is that we are all digital influencers, there is always someone that is affected by what we post. We have to be responsible and always seek for valid sources before sharing any information we find online. #SUNYSNBR@DanPardy
The awareness of our digital footprint should be more discussed. It is easy to forget how exposed we are online. Everything we like, search and post create your digital profile and is accessible on the web to one click! #SUNYSNBR@DanPardy
@MichelsFabiola@DanPardy Students feedback is always helpful and can help us know if our planning is effective. Being present and listening to our students not only give us relevant data as is strengthens the bond with our students. #SUNYSNBR@DanPardy
Our group just had a great discussion on how to measure and report the impact of technology in ECE! Video portfolios and apps are some great options we like to use. What other ideas came out in your groups? #SUNYSNBR@DanPardy
I'm loving the discussions about data, sharing different perspectives and concerns. All the viewpoints are really important and must be taken into consideration in order to use data effectively. #SUNYSNBR@DanPardy
@Raquel27330949 @DanPardy Totally agree! Technology doesn't replace parents either!!! Are you teaching your child social skills, self-regulation strategies, problem-solving skills.. or are you just hiding behind a screen? #SUNYSNBR@DanPardy
Technology doesn't substitute a good teacher, but it can be our best friend and help us transform education. Technology is a great tool with endless possibilities, that combined with a teacher's eager to pursuit her purpose, becomes powerful. #SUNYSNBR@DanPardy
@poodlemominBR@DanPardy I used the Bouncing Balls Noise that @Raquel27330949 shared yesterday. It worked nicely with my students. And I still have lots of new ideas to try from yesterday's section!! #SUNYSNBR@DanPardy
