On Wednesday, after giving a talk to a local #history group, a woman told me her moving story. Her dad, a young flight engineer, had married her mum, a WAAF, & she was born in 1944. Her dad came home to meet his baby daughter - a month later his Lancaster exploded over its target
On Tuesday my dad had a break-in and thieves stole his most precious possession. His mum, who died when dad was a boy, had saved up for months to buy him an Austin Pathfinder pedal car. He has owned it for 70 years. Please RT in case it might help & someone might see it for sale.
