I heard James speak about the need to treat speech and language difficulties in children as a Public Health issue. His loss is a blow to the profession and I hoped to follow his leadership more.
I know it's late but I want to thank NELFT and the Health Way Foundation #tyfest21 I love the Spotify playlist, I can use the inflatable mic for work, and my daughter made a beautiful butterfly. Little things matter @NELFTLetsEngage
@MagpieChatter @IlyehNahdiSLT Thank you Amy and Ilyeh. It really is always refreshing to hear someone passionate about life and bringing that passion to their work. I felt good afterwards!
I particularly enjoyed this presentation @AbbieM_SLT would I be right to think the older children could be taught verbal rehearsal as a strategy but could not internalise the speech?
Thank you @CityLCS for the Linking Research to Practice event 16/4/21. I am thinking of doing a couple of things differently with children with DLD. It was inspiring to see presentations on so much research. #LCSSeminars
I've been lucky to take part in Flying Start with you Amy. The next group of NQTs are getting tools and coaching that will inspire and support them. Have fun with it and I look forward to a growing Alumni.
Just had my final NQP Flying Start coaching session with Amy @MagpieChatter These are challenging and isolated times for NQTs. It is so important to have a compass and someone at your elbow. Thanks Amy #slpeeps#wespeechies
@MagpieChatter The #SLT2B project provided a wealth of clinical expertise. I can't thank everyone who took part enough. It gives me hope and inspiration still.
