Recently, 29 students at Reginald F. Lewis were accepted into Coppin State University. 13 students were accepted into Livingstone College, and four received scholarships! 🎉

“No matter how you parse it, Maryland for many decades has defaulted on its commitment to provide a constitutionally-adequate education to its children, especially by failing to address the historic and ongoing systemic underfunding of school facilities. The court’s decision is an injustice,” said Dr. @SonjaSantelises, CEO of City Schools. “This makes it all the more critical that the General Assembly take action this legislative session to remedy the deep impact of Baltimore City’s concentrated poverty on young people and the facilities where they learn. And we continue to stand united with the Bradford plaintiffs to ensure the state finally meets its obligations.”
