Part 2
We need to take our power back, even if it is from Unions. We are the workers!
We are the engine the runs society! There would be no Unions without us!!
Unions need to step up and do better for the working class and low pay sector! Nobody should be left behind!!!
@NataliePage Where’s Tommy Ten Names, Farage, the right-wing trolls, and their toothless YouTube grifting army over this? Thought they’d be apoplectic with rage and calling for criminal and thuggish unrest like they normally do. Wonder why?
I will be pursuing a press complaint against you @DailyMail for this revolting, dangerous, damaging headline.
His poor daughter went to live with him after a difficult life, hoping for love and stability. He got her blind drunk & raped her. She killed herself.
Shame on you.
Two headlines, two papers
@Independent blames a mother for her toddlers death while the father was looking after him
@DailyMail frames a man raping his daughter as ‘romping’. She tragically went on to kill herself
The British media is in the gutter @IpsoNews@MichelleDewbs
The biggest benefit recipients in the UK are Amazon, Apple, Google, BP, Tesco, The Royal Family.
They receive 3x as much as ALL Disability Benefits.
I don't know why we tolerate these billionaire scroungers.
I am absolutely disgusted by The Daily Mail’s headline.
They didn’t “romp”. He plied her with alcohol and raped her, and she took her own life.
The headline is as disgusting as the sentencing.
If you are worried about
Benefit Fraud £0.5bn but not Government Corruption £219bn.
Immigration £2bn but not Tax Havens £150bn.
Junior Doctors pay rises £1.3bn but not Bankers tax cuts £7.3bn.
You‘re buying their lies.
My rent went up $300 a month.
I told people I couldn’t afford it. They said just move.
So I looked up what moving actually costs.
First month’s rent. Security deposit. Application fee. Credit check fee. Moving truck. Utility deposits. Time off work to do all of it.
That’s $4,000 minimum just to escape a rent increase.
The solution to not having money is apparently having money.
Poverty isn’t a mindset problem.
It’s a locked door that charges you to find the key.
You CANNOT have hyperwealth without hyperpoverty. A billionaire exists in one country because child labor exists in another.
Stock markets grow by looting countries raw. That’s the reality of capitalism: the misanthropic greed of the rich is fed by devastating the poor.
Minimum wage in 2005 was £5.05 an hour.
A Freddo cost 10p.
One hour of work bought you 50 Freddos.
In 2026, minimum wage is £12.71 and a Freddo is 39p.
One hour of work now buys you just 32 Freddos.
So despite minimum wage more than doubling, your Freddo buying power has fallen by 36%.
If wages had actually kept pace with Freddo inflation, minimum wage would be £19.65 an hour today.
Forget economists. Forget politicians.
The Freddo has just delivered the most depressing cost of living graph you'll ever see.
You can have Universal Healthcare, Housing, Pensions, Good Wages, Holidays, Cheap food/energy/fuel...
Or you can have billionaires and trillionaires ripping you off.
Workdays SHOULD be 10am-3pm or 9am-2pm. There's no reason for people to spend most of their lives at work.
Let people go home and have time for their families, partners, friends, and rest. That's why everyone is so miserable today.
I am begging people to understand the reason you pay so much tax is because the richest pay so little.
The combined tax dodged by the richest 1% is more than the tax contribution of the bottom 70%.
If they paid their tax, you wouldn't have to pay any.
More than 13 million people in Britain are living in poverty. The campaign to cut welfare (or other key public spending) is dishonest.
They should come clean. They are willing to push poverty even higher to fund an unnecessary surge in military spending.
