Halo 4 got a 9.8/10 after abandoning the entire art and mechanics of the original franchise, setting no future for the story to continue
Halo 5 got a 9/10 after nearly burying the franchise.

@IGN @DanStapleton I would say the issue lies more in who is chosen to review said game(s). Too often I have seen reviews specifically noting that the writer is not a fan of the genre or franchise they are reviewing. A certain "too much water" pokemon review comes to mind.

@DanStapleton Ah sir actually you are correct, Alien Isolation was never re-reviewed, I had that wrong. I'll stand by my original comment for that game, adding that the AI was described as too hard in a survival horror title.

@Tritemare I think one of the most important things to remember is that you are interviewing them as much as they are interviewing you. Come prepared with hard questions regarding the position and company. This shows interest and knowledge on role.

@DanStapleton Just so everyone knows I'm being fair here. Prey 2 was recanted when the reviewer was able to finish a copy without the game breaking bug.

Alien Isolation was later reviewed by a different reviewer, who was a clear fan of survival horror, and gave it a more thorough review

Keep Scav spawns as is, and balance out would-be player spawns with roaming Raiders or an equivalent.

Same formula can be used for the player Scav runs.

PSA for game collectors. @BestBuy sent me 2 damaged collector edition box sets, one after another, following my reported that my first one was damaged. After basically forcing me to keep the least damaged of the two, all they gave me as compensation was a $10 gift card. Beware.

And to be blunt... The Halo content creators need to stop stroking the show off just to get views. I would have expected more of them to speak up about this.

Not only is the #HaloSeries a bad halo adaption, it's a bad sci-fi show in general. Lazy writing, lazy editing, and lazy set design all plague the project. With supposed $10mil devoted to each episode, I would've expected better from @paramountplus.
