I therefore am not a the position to infer why ”…they keep calling Benin people Yoruba”. But the reason different tribes ”share a lot” with each other is due to cultural exchange

By that logic:

By 2020, the Legacy Restoration Trust + British Museum launched EMOWAA “with Palace approval.”

Today it’s MOWAA; “independent,” non-profit, but with unclear ownership.
