@MrEFinch The funding is also not there so for the children with significant need, it is necessary to request an EHC assessment to get funding for the additional support. In the meantime being creative with provision in mainstream settings but it depends on the needs across your context…
@llewelyn20 What about the time the SENDCo & teachers take to write school views, gather family & child views & provide all the supporting evidence only for the LA to turn round & refuse to assess. Then suggest a ‘moving forward together’ meeting for us to spend time re-submitting it all…
@SwailesRuth All EY staff know that ‘themed’ roleplay areas are not purposeful if our children have no experience of that situation. Build on what they know with the right enhancements and quality interactions. All about context… Grrrr to those who just don’t get it!!!
@sneekysheneeky Gosh I don’t really know…🤣 if anyone could see inside my brain it would look like my laptop with several tabs open!!🤣 I think I’ve got better at saying ‘no, not yet’ to requests and not getting so upset about not being able to finish things.
@DeputyGrocott Favourites from even Y6 boys in my singing assemblies are Try Everything from the Zootopia movie and bizarrely supercalifragilisticexpialidocious… 🤣🤣

Really disappointed about the referee decisions in the #EngSco game including the ‘over the top’ ball steal from Itoje that he knew he got away with, the boos from the English fans at times and I thought the decision had been made that Swing Low was no longer to be sung…!!! 🇮🇪
