Student led reteach/review as class-whole, short direct teach w/guidednotes -chunk concepts by adding a little new each class, scaffolded assignments spiral in old, review games: sites/stations/puzzles, group projects to build/create product to apply concepts

They’re high school students. They haven’t used all the newest ways as much, plus covid-schooling all mid school years.

@teacher2teacher The students. They’re energy. Hearing their conversations. Watching them process. ❤️Having an exchange of wit and humor. Students talking real life, hearing their stories, their future plans. 17 year olds. Never dull.
100%. There’s something to like in everyone. Step out, drop perceptions, and without expectation; meet them. As a person. Once you’ve got them they’ll try, because they trust. They’ll have success because they tried. And that is something they can take with them through life.

I get one more year of them swinging in and talking to them in the halls.
But last years group was an all time amazing energy. I teach “those kids” never a dull moment. Some big personalities walking this year’s graduation. Prom’s next week it will be a fun nite
